Co-creation with users from healthcare

At OpenPhantom, we have a vision of creating affordable open source task trainers for all specialties in all parts of the World.

We do this by

  1. Establishing local work groups consisting of clinicians, teachers, learners, engineers, and skilled makers
  2. Determining the most relevant learning goals of the proposed task trainer
  3. 3D-modelling of relevant anatomy and other features based on existing anatomical models, trainers, and image data such as CT-scans
  4. 3D printing, molding, casting, post-producing, and testing in an iterative collaboration with users
  5. Sharing the final designs with the community to enable worldwide adaptation and improvement
